Children’s parties for the families who use Demelza’s hospices in Kent and Eltham took place on Sunday (Jan 6th).
Detling showground near Maidstone and the Holiday Inn at Bexley were the venues with highlights including arts and crafts, raffles, tombolas, a magician, gifts and a disco.
Former Coronation actress Sally Lindsay popped into the party at Bexley with partner Steve White and their two-year-old twin boys, Vic and Louie and golfer Benn Barham attended the Kent event.
Sally said: “It was lovely to have the opportunity to attend the Demelza children’s party and meet some inspiring families. Having recently had two boys I appreciate how lucky I am to have healthy children and how easily it could be me needing to use the services of a children’s hospice. I urge people to do as much as they can to support this fantastic facility.”
Demelza’s Corporate Partnerships Executive Keith Lee: “A huge thank you to everyone who made these parties possible. Our aim was to give the families who rely on our services a special day and we hope they had a fabulous time. Thank you so much to everyone who donated time, money or presents.”
