Hundreds Come to See New Hospice Facilities
Over 700 people came through the doors of our Sittingbourne hospice on Saturday (March 17th) to see Demelza’s new facilities as well as browse stalls and enjoy entertainment.
Visitors toured the new facilities including a brand new hydrotherapy pool, teenage bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms as well as existing facilities including the hospice sensory room and soft play area.
TV presenter and Capital Radio breakfast DJ Dave Berry cut a ribbon in the hydrotherapy pool to officially open the new facilities.
He said: "It was a wonderful day, full of happy faces and the shiniest new facilities. It was an honour to cut the ribbon on a day that was only possible due to so much great work from so many great people."

Bricks and Water Thank You
A huge thank you to all of our supporters who donated to the Bricks and Water appeal. We are delighted to announce that the appeal is now complete and the building works finished!
We launched our £1.3m appeal back in November 2010 with building works starting in January 2011.
The aim of the project was to update the existing bedrooms used by our young people, add in ensuite bathrooms and create two specific teenage bedrooms.
