Demelza FacilitiesWe have a well equipped playroom, arts and crafts room, therapy room, computer room with PC games and internet connection, sensory and soft play equipment and an outdoor play area with specialist play equipment for children and young people who use wheelchairs.

Each bedroom has en-suite disabled facilities, including jacuzzi baths and toilet/bidet. Each room is also sensor controlled to promote independence. Two of the rooms have environmental controls which allow the remotes for the TV, lighting, telephone and curtains to be operated by voice rather than touch, again promoting independence for our service users.

A range of therapies can be offered to include regular individual and group sessions from our own music therapist.

Trips are regularly arranged using a specially adapted minibus for transport. We also hold special events, parties and activities within the hospice.

There are comfortable, fully furnished en suite rooms in the family accommodation. which includes an open-plan fully fitted kitchen, lounge and dining area.

Meals can be provided for the whole family and are prepared and cooked on the premises by our team of chefs and volunteers. All dietary needs can be catered for.
