A real alternative for all ages from 0 to 100.
Do you have a birthday party to organise or a special celebration?
Does the prospect of sourcing party bags or gifts for the guests make you groan? Do you feel it's important to give people the opportunity to learn about the importance of giving?
Introducing a real alternative for all ages from 0 to 100.
While celebrating you can make a real difference by donating the cost of purchasing party bags to Demelza instead.
Why not send each guest home with a balloon and a small treat tied on the end with a very important thank you message from Demelza?
They will go down a treat and no-one will go home empty handed!
All we ask is that you make a suggested minimum donation of £1 per guest, which will go a long way to helping children and families in the care of Demelza.
For those celebrating that special birthday further along the 0-100 scale, why not do something that has a lasting impact and suggest to friends that they make a gift by donating to Demelza?

Sarah Stokes' daughter, Sophie recently attended a 4th birthday where the host chose to send each guest home with the Demelza thank you tag attached to a bag of sweets.
Sarah commented: "I think it's a great idea. My daughter was lucky enough to go to a fantastic party and she was more than happy to come home with the sweets and lots of happy memories. I was delighted that the money that would have ordinarily been spent on giving her a party bag went instead to children less fortunate than her. I wish more people would do this as our children really don't need to be showered with expensive party bags every time they go to another child's birthday party. I will definitely do this for my daughter's next birthday party." |
