Our post Christmas Party took place on Sunday 6th January 2013 at Detling Showground, Maidstone. William Hill sponsored the event and with Demelza staff help they also planned and presented the event.

Around 300 children, young people and their families joined in the day which had lots of activities and entertainments including a disco, magician, sports activities, arts and crafts, hook a duck, table quiz, tombola and a raffle.

Each child and young person was given a photo frame which they could decorate and a chance to have a family photograph taken in the grotto.

On Wednesday 23^rd January we held a pixie and fairy day at the hospice.

We all dressed up in our hats, wings as fairy and pixie outfits. We had lots of fun Fairy Bobbing in the hydrotherapy pool. 

We enjoyed cooking and loved smelling the lavender, peppermint and orange creams.

We made a mess in the art room painting fairies and making a pretty wand or a cool pixie hat with a feather in the top. Fun was had by all......
