Here when we're needed most

Demelza provide extraordinary care to extraordinary children with serious or life-limiting conditions and their families.

Who we support

Demelza provides clinical care and wraparound support for children and young people with serious or life-limiting conditions, and their families.

We support children and families living in the Demelza catchment areas of Kent & Medway, East Sussex or South East London (specifically the boroughs of Bexley, Bromley, Greenwich, Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark).

Referrals can be made before birth up to the 16th birthday for non-urgent care and up to the 18th birthday for specialist nursing, such as end of life care.

Extraordinary care

The number of children and young people living with serious or life-limiting conditions is increasing every year. Many need 24-hour care and support.

At Demelza we want life to be the best it can be for these children, and for those who love them. We support families wherever is best for them: at our hospices or at home, online, at school and in local communities.

Our specialist nursing and care teams can help keep children out of hospital, or leave hospital sooner, and we support parents to learn to meet their children’s complex medical needs with confidence.

The life and work of Demelza Phillips inspired the creation of our hospices and our charity.

Our care and support is built on over 30 years’ experience and founded on her legacy.
