We have 20 community shops around Kent, South East London and East Sussex. These shops are invaluable to us in the amount of income and awareness they creat for Demelza Hospice Care for Children.
If you are a sociable, resourceful person then you will thoroughly enjoy volunteering alongside a dedlicated volunteer team in one of our community retail outlets. Our retail outlets could not run without the support of their wonderful volunteers!
Tasks within our community shops include interacting with customers, taking donations, sorting and pricing donations, steaming, general housekeeping and, serving customers. If you have a specific area of the shop you would like to develop skills within or, perhaps you already have retail experience in, we will try to tailor your volunteering experience to this area of the shop.
A community shop is a fantastic way of growing your confidence, interacting with new people and learning new skills!
