Student placements
We are committed to helping the next generation of nurses develop their careers in children’s palliative and hospice care. We offer high quality training and development opportunities for students wanting to start their careers in a field that will see them change lives.
Demelza offers placements to second and third year student nurses following a paediatric or learning disability pathway, from the University of Greenwich, University of Kent, Canterbury Christ Church University, London South Bank University and King's College London.
Students will be allocated a mentor and can be placed at our two hospices, Demelza Kent and Demelza South East London.
